About

“Here's where redesign begins in earnest, where we stop trying to be less bad and we start figuring out how to be good.”
― William McDonough,
Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things

We want our developments to blend back into the local ecosystem and become a structure that is part of the natural world rather than separate

Our new developments will use cradle to cradle design. The goal being that at the end of the buildings life cycle the products used to create it can be entirely recycled. This will minimize the waste going to a landfill as well as create an abundance of new material to which we can use to continue to create.

Our Re-developments will try to follow a similar structure where possible. Keeping things intact helps prolong the creation of large amounts of waste. The new projects used to replace the old will be sourced with the health of people and the planet in mind.

When we consider that nearly 40% of carbon emissions are from the building sector and that 2/3 of the buildings today will exist till 2040 we can fully realize the need for redesign*. There is no doubt the conversion of existing construction into efficient, ecologically compatible buildings is one of the most cost effective and carbon saving ways to better our planet. The creation of new buildings must also be built with this in mind, using cradle to cradle architecture and WELL indoor health standards to name a few will be used to create thoughtful and timeless structures.
